Scope
The purpose of the "Security and Privacy Challenges in Smart Cities” conference is to discuss the new and next level technologies that will drive Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things forward which aims to revolutionize the future industrial and urban developments. The goal of the conference is also to explore intelligent industrial innovations, approaching from all possible vectors – expand business models, smarter key technologies, new approaches to data analysis, rethink strategic planning, develop new opportunities, and identify challenges and its solutions, among others. This could encapsulate the future of Europe which could take this as an opportunity to lead the world into the new kind of digital transformation of industry and urbanism.
The IoT offers advanced connectivity of devices, systems, and services that go beyond machine-to-machine communications and covers a variety of domains and applications. The interconnection of embedded devices is expected in many fields including Mobility and Intelligent Transport. In the light of the latest knowledge and scientific projects findings, the authors present actual R&D trends in the given field. New ideas, cutting-edge innovations and technologies for mobility agenda are needed together with a multidisciplinary perspective approach.
